It's My First full Week at Home with My Family & Friends!!

Well here I am !! Did you guys miss me??? Because I sure did miss you all!! Here you can see me wearing my new Seahawks gear that my Auntie Vicki got me, and might I say I look fantastic in it!! THANK YOU Auntie!! Now it has been a long week, but I sure did love every minute of it!! I had soooo many visitors come and see me at home, and first off I would like to thank you all that came :) It's so nice to know I still have the support, love, & prayers from everyone even after I got out of the hospital :) Well how was my week you ask? Well lets start with what I forgot to put in the last post! My uncle Justin and his fiance Kylie came over with their new baby girl the night I came home, and we got to meet each other for the first time :) See Below!!

Say hello to Journee Rose Ross! We laid on the blanket there and had ourselves a little wrestling match!! It sure was a lot of fun to finally meet another baby that was NOT in the ICU. (No offense to all my ICU friends out there, but you guys just slept all the time!!) We laid there for a good 10 minutes and it sure was fun :) Thank you Journee for hanging out with me! I can't wait to see you again!! After that it was bed time for me :) It was my first night at home and I was soooo excited! Now I only woke up a couple times to get mommy and daddy up to feed me. It sure is a whole lot different here, no more beeping noises or noisy babies. The only thing I really hear here at night is the TV daddy keeps on for me so I can get used to being at home. And let me tell you the TV sounds a lot better than the constant beep, beep, beep, beep.... And I am sooo glad to have my own bed now too!! It's a WHOLE lot better than my plastic box at the hospital, and it's right next to my mommy and daddy! I couldn't be happier!! The next morning was school clothes shopping day and my Grandma Rolene was coming to join us!! We all got together, Mommy, Daddy, Jayce, Preston, Alexis, Grandma, and Me! Now that's a lot of people, so we had two take 2 cars of course, and now I am off to north bend for my first super long car ride!! And guess what, I handled it perfectly fine!! We stayed out there for about 3 hours, and where was I the whole time you ask? I was in my mommies arms because MOMMY forgot the stroller!!! Either way I was happy cause I was held the whole time by my mommy, daddy, and grandma Rolene :) Once we were done it was off to the house, where during the car ride I pretty much slept the whole time, (shocking right). Once home I heard my Auntie Krista was coming to see me, and her daughter Brookie!! And of course Cousin Brookie had to hold me! See Below!

What a very pretty Cousin I have!! And she was so gentle she didn't even wake me!! After that my sister got jealous of all the loving I was getting from Cousin so she just had to come in and swoop me up and hold me as well! See Below!!

Great job sister! You didn't wake me up once either!! Oh man now my brother Jayce is getting jealous so now he HAS to hold me too!! See Below!!

By that time I was awake and pretty hungry so big brother Jayce got me some food :) Thank you Jayce!!! Once he was done mama got me up and changed my clothes, this was because I tend to spit all over them :( Still working on this whole bottle thing guys :) And now would you look at that! My brother Preston has to hold me now too!!! See Below!

There was certainly a lot of loving going on with me and my brother's and sister today!! Of course though I still am a preemie baby, so I had to go to sleep!! Thank You sooo much Grandma Rolene for coming out to see me today!! And Also Auntie Krista and Brookie :) I sure do love you all!! 

Now the next day I had MORE  family members come to see me!! First it was Auntie Vickie and Uncle Terry :) And I finally got to meet my cousins Matti and the infamous SAMMI!!

Matti was still holding me, but here you can see my Sister Alexis holding my Cousin sammi!! And as you can see she is wearing the same shirt I am wearing way up at the top! Auntie wanted us Seahawks babies to match!! :) So nice to FINALLY meet you Sammi!! I sure have talked a lot about you in my blog, and even though you are an icky COUGAR fan and I of course am a Husky fan, I am sure we will get along just fine :) (Until apple cup comes around that is.....) Later my Mommy's friend aka Auntie Mel came to visit me too! See Below!!

Here you can see she is just loving on me, and getting me all warm in my blankie :) Oh and you can see my auntie Vicki there and good ole Cousin Sammi's leg! After that it was MORE family time because my Grandpa Andy came over to see me too!! See Below!!

Here you can see him trying to steal my headband while I am asleep!!! Hehe just kidding he is fixing it for me :) Thank you grandpa! It's hard to see when you have a head band in your eyes. (Even though I don't need to see when I am asleep as you can see above) It was yet again another great day!! So many family and friends came to see me, ones I have never met, and ones I just cant get enough of! Thank You Auntie Vicki and Uncle Terry for the clothes! And thank you Sammi and Matti for being so nice to me!! Also thank you Auntie Mel and Grandpa Andy for coming out to see me I sure do love you all and can't wait to see you again! But I am tired and must go to bed, but before I go I will show you Sammi and I styling in our matching Seahawks clothes!!

Look at her already pushing me to the side and trying to steal my spotlight!! She may be a tad bigger than me now, but just remember who has more hair!! Hehehe :) I will see you soon cousin!! I sure do love you bunches!
It still is so weird waking up here and not in the hospital! I just love it when I wake up and realize that I am at home with the family! Now today is Monday and that means mommy has to go to work :( Good bye mommy have a good day!! :) That also means its Daddy time!! Jayce, Preston, and Alexis were all here too for the week, so daddy has a lot of kids to take after!! Now the transition of being here and not my plastic box has been quiet weird for me. Mostly is the noise I think, because my brothers and sister's sure are noisy!! I couldn't sleep the entire day!! I would just lay in my bed and make funny noises all day and cry when I needed my food, but daddy was always there to change me and feed me when needed :) Thank you daddy! Occasionally my brothers and sister would come up to see me and play with me a bit or hold me :) Sure was fun being around them all day long! And this pretty much was my whole week, Monday through Friday, just getting used to the daily grind with the family :) Now I did have a couple visitor's from the hospital on Tuesday. They were both social workers checking on me to make sure I am A-OK! And guess What! They weighed me and I gained 5 ounces!! So that puts me at 8 pound 4 ounces!!! They also gave me a new blankie and some clothes and a cool little book! Thanks you guys for coming by to make sure I am doing OK!! I also had a Dr's Appointment on Thursday to make sure I was doing good as well. I got weighed there too and I gained again!! There I weighed 8 pounds 5 ounces!! And the Dr. said I looked very good and everything was fine for me :) So in short a whole lot of good news!! I drink about 15-16 ounces of formula every day now too! Which is about 75ML every 3 hours or so just like a normal newborn!! Next week the social workers will be back again to weigh me and make sure I am still doing good!! So yay for me!!

All week while with my daddy I could not ever fall asleep!! All I ever did was try to get his attention so he would hold me! He tried many many time's to lay me down for sleep, but the second I was away from him awake I was, then I would whine till he picked me back up :) I own him!! :) Once Friday rolled around Jayce had to go for the weekend :( And so did Alexis :( AND so did Preston :( Oye I will sure miss you guys!! It has been such a great first week with my siblings :) That day Jade came by to pick up Jayce, and she brought her son Jordyn too. Now he gets to meet me too!! See Below!

 After that picture it was time to say goodbye to my brother and sisters :( I am sure gonna miss you guys!! I will see you all on Monday!! And don't forget your preemie baby sister sure does love you all!! Before they left Jade just had to hold me and say goodbye :) See Below!

She is soooo happy to finally see me at home :) Thank you for the loving Jade!! I will see you soon!! Once everyone left it was time to go on trip to my God Parents house!!! Yay!!! See Below!

Here is God Papa Chad!! I was soooo excited to see them!! As always God Mama hogged me all to her self, but I did have some God Daddy time :) I have not seen him in so long, and he sure was shocked to see how much I have grown, and to see the "wireless" version of me :) But eventually like always it was time to go, because like I said earlier, when I am with dad I don't seem to sleep at all during the day!! So to home we went and to bed I went!! :)
 Once I woke up again it was another big day for me!! Today I get to meet another Grandma and another Auntie for the first time!! Grandma Karen, and Auntie Julie!! :) See Below!!!

Now Karen was the mom of my daddies Best friend Drew, who happeed to pass away in 2008 :( It's so sad I never got to meet you :( But I did get to meet your mama and your sister and I sure do love them a lot!! :) Thank you daddy for taking me to visit these very special people in your life :) We all hung out for about an hour, but we had to go home for yet again another guest!! I love you Grandma Karen and Auntie Julie :) You better visit me again soon!!
Once I got home I noticed my Daddies good friend Sam had come to see me again!!!! Yay!! AND she brought her brand new baby Heighlee!! See below!!

Here we are both trying to hold hands :) We had lots of fun laying there on the blankie, just staring off into the world! I think we are gonna grow up to be best friends!! After that Sam of course had to have her princess time with me!! See Look!

Here I am waving to the camera!! Hi guys!! :) They all stayed with me until I fell sleep for the night :) Thank you soooo Much Sam, Zach, Dylon, Emmie and Heighlee for coming to see me!! I can't wait to see you guys again! And it better be soon Auntie Sam!! :) 
Now the next day (Sunday) We had to go to a funeral for my Great Grandpa Reino Moisio :( Now I have never met him, but from what I heard at the service he was a great man and I wish I could have met you :( Rest in peace Great Grand daddy :( But while I was there I got to be with all my family once again :) My Grandpa Andy, Grandma Debbie, Auntie Vicki, Uncle Terry, and Cousin Sammi too!! I visited with a lot of you that have read my blog from the beginning, and it sure was neat to finally meet you all!! Thank you all for coming up to say hi to me today :) We were there for about 4 hours before we had to say goodbye to everyone :( I will miss you all!! and thank you all for your kind words :) After the service I got to go to my first baseball game!! The person playing was my daddies good friend Steve! And his girlfriend Loni finally got to see and hold me out of my box! See Below!!

She held me for most of the baseball game, and my daddies good friend Steve won his game too!! It was sure nice to see you again Loni! You better come and see me again!! :) After that it was off to bed once again and FINALLY my crazy busy first week is over!!
Now I know this was REALLY long but I had to thank you all who spent your time with me on my first week! It means a lot to me to know that I still matter in your lives enough to come and see me! So now I will let you all go and you all will hear from me again next Monday! Now if you haven't noticed I changed the title of my blog from Journey, to Beginnings, this is because my journey is over, and now these are my beginnings :) My love goes out to all of you whom spent your week with me, and to you all that spend your time with me tonight :) I will talk to you all soon, and I will leave you with a funny pic of me wearing Sam's HUGE bow :)

My Journey Ends Today, In The Arms Of Loved Ones :)

Hey guys! Yep I am awake here just saying Hi and that's pretty much it so see Ya!! Ok just joking as you can tell from the title today has been THE Day! The day I have been waiting for my entire short life! The Day that I was too impatient for 99 days ago! The day all of you have been waiting for! The day where every prayer and well wish comes to fruition! The day I Finally get to wear my Washington Husky gear! Look below and watch me strike a pose!!!

OK that's really not it, its just my last parting shot at my Coug Cousin Sammi!! Hahaha!! But no, today is the day I get to FINALLY go home!! My oh my what a Journey indeed!! But FIRST for old time sakes how about my stats??? Well today I gained 3 ounces!!! So that put my release weight at 7 pounds 15 ounces!! So for all of you who chose the first option on the poll congrats!! You are winners!! :) And whom ever decided to vote for over nine pounds, what were you people thinking!!! :) Now to the good stuff :) Well when mommy and daddy came in they found me with no cords anymore, so I was basically just ready to go! Daddy swooped in to pick me up and hold me while the mama signed all my paperwork for my release from my plastic prison!!!! Once mommy was done it was packing time! Mommy packed all my stuff into bags while daddy got me in my car seat ready for the ride home!! See Below!

Again I am striking a pose!! While I was sitting here waiting as patiently as only I know how to wait (See May 11th 2012) I began to cry because everyone was taking sooooo long!! PLEASE take me home guys PLEASE!!! Finally when the papers were signed and the goodbyes were over it was time to sit in my car seat, on a cart, with all my stuff being marched out of the IC unit. Now I would love to say there were hundreds of people here waving their hands goodbye and clapping and blowing me kisses, but no it was just my mommy, daddy, and the nurses who have taken care of me all my life and I would not have asked for it in any other way :) It's hard to say goodbye to the people that have basically made it able so I could go home and be here today to write to you, but I really need to go and be home now :) I have had my ups and downs with you nurses (and you all know what I mean) but at the end of the day you all are the reason I live today and I will never forget you! I would list you all off today by name, but there were sooo many of you and my little preemie mind cannot remember all your names so I will just leave it at this, I will never forget you, and my parents will never forget you. The amount of love you have all shown me these past 99 days is unbelievable. I would have never expected this amount of compassion, loving, and caring from complete strangers, and all of you deserve to be commended. The love in my tiny heart for all of you can only be eclipsed by the love I have for my family (And that is a WHOLE lot!). Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, you all will never be forgotten. And as the tears fall down my cheek for the last time in the IC I bid you all farewell and good bye :)

Well here I am waiting for the car!! It's always tough to say goodbye to your first home, but in my case it will be ok, so GOODBYE Tacoma General!! :) And it's off to the car for me! So daddy gets me in and ready to go and then off we went!! Now I thought we were going straight home, but mommy and daddy had more baby stuff to get, so it was off to Babies R Us!! I got me some new formula, a new bathtub,  and some new TOYS!! :) Now I have never had toy's before but I heard they are really FUN! Can't wait to try them out!! Now its finally off to home!! Now it was a long drive but I kinda woke up as we pulled in the driveway. Everything looks SOOOOO weird! I have NEVER seen the outside world what a trip! Looks a lot different from my plastic box at my previous house!! Daddy grabbed my car seat and took me in the house and now is the time I GET TO MEET MY FAMILY!! Jayce, Alexis and Preston, my brothers and sister get to see me for the first time! Eeek I am nervous!! See Below!

Wow they are SOOOO BIG!! You can't see me but I am in the car seat right there as Jayce (to the left) looks at me confused and shocked to finally have his baby sister at home. Alexis (in the middle)looks at me with the sweet eyes of someone whom just gained a sister, and Preston (to the right) looks at me with the sweet stare of love and excitement for finally getting to meet me!! And daddy just looks at me like a weirdo! Way to photo bomb daddy!! :) After that is was time to be held by the Brothers and sister's :) See Below!

She is soooo pretty I just can't sop staring at her, you see!! Now Preston was a little too nervous to hold me, so that photo will come sometime later :) It's ok brother I still love you!! God it has taken me sooo long to finally meet you guys, I can' wait to spend the rest of my lives as your sister!! What a proud preemie princess I sure am!! :) Thank you all for all your loving today!! :)

What a Journey it has been, this all started 99 days ago on May 11th 2012, and now here it is today August 17th. They say Preemies have 2 birthdays, they day they leave their mommy's tummy, and the day they escaped the hospital so today as my journey ends its my second birthday :) You know when my mommy first got pregnant this was her due date TODAY, what a weird coincidence, or maybe it was fate either way I am finally home :). Now most babies spend all their time in their mommy to grow, but I needed more than my mommy to grow because of my impatience. I have had tube's, sensor's, med's, heat light's, UV light's, oxygen masks, cpap machines, probes, picc lines, IV's, and here I am today as healthy as can be!! Just like I was supposed to be today when my mama found out she was growing me in her tummy. :) Now I won't lie and say that it was not easy, there were really hard days, but all those days got so much better when my mommy and daddy came to be with me, and when my family and friends came to see me :) So this is for all of you !!! To My grandma's Rolene, Roberta and Debbie, to my Grandpa's Andy and Gary, you guys made me feel so special and loved and visited me as much as you could, and thank you sooo much for that. I love you all so much and I am already attached to you more than you will ever know :) Not a day you guys came by was a bad memory and I will always cherish those times :) I love you all soo much. To my Aunties Vicki, Sarah, Patty and my Uncles Joey, Seth and Terry, You all gave me and my parents strength to get by. The way you all treated me when you were around made me always feel like family and that's what a Preemie needs more than anything. The Love you showed me will never be forgotten :) To my extended family members that came out to see me all the way from the east coast, My Great Aunt Dawn, Great Aunt BeLinda, and my Great-Grandma Sue you have NO CLUE how special that made me feel, I love you all so much and thank you for making that trip, I never knew how much I meant to the family until that day :) To my other Aunties Krista, Loni, Jade, Kalia, Sam, Melissa, Jamie, Julie, Sheri, Krista R. and Jesi and my other uncles Chad P. Steve, Brian, Rick and Brian H, you guys came out of your ways to meet me and make me feel special. Most of you started out as my mommy and daddy's friends but now you are my friends and you helped me get past those tough day's and always brought a smile to my face with all your love and kindness!! To my God Parents of course Amber and Chad, I will never forget our visits or the excitement involved in the both of you every time you ever laid eyes on me :) The love felt from the two of you always touched me and it's the kind of love that will be carried with me all my life :) And to my mommy and daddy. What can I say about you guys!! You battled as much as I did, everyday you never skipped a beat, you were there to see me no matter how tired you were or how hard it was on those bad days. I could have never done it with you two! This is what it means to truly feel loved, the sacrifices by you two and all things you did for me is the reason why I am who I am today, I truly love you both with all my heart and I could have never asked for better parents. I could have never asked for a better life! PERIOD! You all that I have listed above have come and visited me in my lowest points of my short life, but it was YOU guys that gave me the hope and fight to live. You all showed me it was worth fighting to get out of here, it was a miracle to be brought here so early, but it was also a miracle to be brought into the life I have, and with the people I know around me. I love you all sooo much and again I will never forgot all of this!! Finally to you the readers who made me the most popular preemie baby princess on the planet! Your love and prayers I KNOW have had an impact on my life, and I know I am here today healthy because of all you giving me your good wishes, and blessings :) Thank you all for giving me your time every night :) I love you all....I have decided that after all of this how could I stop the blog, this is about my journey is it not? So I will continue this weekly until I turn one :) Every Sunday I will post about my past week and have pictures too of course!! I owe it all to you, and besides I would miss you all if I just ended it today, so this is my gift to you world :) Again I thank you for you support :)

Wow and after all of that, it is time to say goodnight! I have a family to get to and I can't wait to get to know them better :) But before I say goodbye I have to tell the truth!! I of course have not been writing this blog :( I have been whispering my stories to my mommy and daddy whom are living these stories with me. Daddy does the writing and mommy does the checking :) Hey if I could type I would do it myself, but for now I will work on just eating :) And on that note I still have growing to do, so I got's to get to it!! My Journey home has ended yes but my Journey at home has just begun :) So say hello and goodnight to me and my happy family :) This is Olivia Remy Vannoy Signing out!! :)

My Day's Here are Numbered... :)

I was pretty cranky by the time mommy and daddy came today because I was STARVING and there was no one there to feed me :( At 7pm everyday till 7:30 all the nurses get together and talk because it is shift change, so babies like me are forced to wait :( But then mommy and daddy came so I thought for sure I had someone to feed me.... But sadly no :( Ugh they had to change my clothes and my diaper and take my temp and blah blah blah. Oye my temp was 36.6C which yet again is very good, but HEY I AM HUNGRY!! FINALLY once they were done doing there parental duties daddy grabbed me and it was time for food!!

No wait there is something wrong with this picture!! I DON'T HAVE FOOD YET!! Ugh, that's because the nurses have to get it and they are still talking!!! So daddy had to entertain me for about 15 minutes trying to calm me down. FINALLY the nurses came with my food and iron medicine!!

Yay it's food time!!!

I was a mighty happy baby and I was able to eat all my food, 62ML in under 30 minutes again! BUT I was still hungry!! So the nurse brought me yet again another bottle and I decided it was play time so I just chewed on my bottle for a bit :) I ate about 5 more ML before I started falling asleep. But before I fall asleep I forgot to mention the good news and the bad news... Good news is everyone seems to think I will be out of here this weekend for sure!! Bad news is that I lost weight again :( I now weigh 7 pounds 12 ounces.... So ya a 2 ounce loss... BUT I had a lot of food in my tummy yesterday when they weighed me so it may have been a false gain, and this weight is more than likely the correct one. SO don't get worried just yet :) I still need to gain weight again before they release me so cross your fingers guys!!

Daddy laid me back in my bed/plastic box and I decided I wanted to stay awake a little bit longer :) I sure do love you guys and thank you for cheering me up when I was upset daddy!! Now I have not mentioned mommy much today and that is because she was talking to the nurse the whole time going over things for my release!! I think they are all but ready now to finally take me home!! So now the rest of this release is all on me :) I'll be trying real hard guys!! Make sure to keep me in your prayers tonight :) I Love you all and lets hope tomorrow night is my last night in this plastic shoe box!!! :) Goodnight!!

Big Weight Gain, and A Special Visitor!!! :)

Well hello there guys!! Today was a day of just filling up my tummy!! That's because starting this morning I was put on At Will!! Which again means that I eat when I am hungry!! AND that also means everyone can start talking about me going home again!!!!! Some are thinking as early as Friday!!!! But we will have a better idea tomorrow! (It's a good thing I ripped my feeding tube out yesterday huh!) Anyways when mommy came in this morning at 8 she fed me my whole bottle and I ate it all in no time!! :) Then later in the day Daddy and Mommy both came!! First daddy picked me up like always and gave me a big kiss on the head! See Below!!

Awe Thank You daddy!! Then he took my temp which was 36.8C which is great!! Then it was time to weigh me. Daddy got my clothes off then put me on the scale and OH MY GOODNESS I gained 4 OUNCES!!! Holy Cow!!!! I AM NOW 7 POUNDS 14 OUNCES!! I am almost 8 pounds!! I can't believe it!! That is almost 8 ounces in 3 days!! I can finally say I have figured out the incredibly difficult bottle!! :) Daddy then got me dressed and Oh my goodness who is here to see me?? It's my new good friend Sam!! She then swooped me up from my daddy and oh she is gonna feed me too!! See Below!!

Just look a how happy she is to see me!!! Probably not even close to how happy I am to see you!! She just had her baby about a month ago, so she is a pro now at this whole feeding thing!! I can't wait to meet your new daughter Heighlee when I get out of here :) My good friend Sam just talked to me the whole time I was eating and was always loving on me :) Its been close to 2 months since she saw me last and could not stop talking about how beautiful I am now, and how much I have grown :) Made me really happy to see you Sam, Thank you soooooooooo MUCH!! I was able to finish 40 ML of my bottle, that was because an hour and half before mommy and daddy came in I was hungry and I ate 62ML, So that's over 100 ML in 2 hours!! Ya I think I am good for now, and Sam you went and talked me to sleep :( Sorry but I have to get back to growing, so it's off to bed for me!! :)

Here I am back in my little plastic box and my eyes are getting tired so it's off to bed for me :) Tomorrow the Dr's should have a better idea on when they might release me so keep your fingers crossed guys and pray for the best :) Again thank you Sam for coming to see me and feeding me, I sure do love you!!!! I love you all, and tune in tomorrow for hopefully good news!!! Goodnight World!!!!

I've Had Enough of this Feeding Tube!!!

Ya this up here is about the closest thing to happy face you're gonna get out of me today cause I am in a bad mood!! I am hungry!! SUPER Hungry! And do you see something missing up there?? Ya that's right I RIPPED out my feeding tube!! The nurses and Dr's saw my handy work and decided that they will let me be with out it!! Hahaha I win!! And ever since then I have been getting all my feeds done by bottle again!! Hopefully I will be put on "At Will" feedings again, and then we can all talk about me going home again! But until then I NEED FOOD!! But before we get to my feeding let me tell you the bad news... I LOST weight :( Yep a whole ounce :( But if you remember I did gain a crazy amount of weight yesterday so nobody is that worried :) So now I weight 7 pound 10 ounces :) Anyway on to family time!! See Below!

Here you can see me giving my pretty mommy a kiss on the cheek :) But mom I am starving enough with all the loving's!! She changed my diaper and my clothes and helped weigh me, then we measured my length and I GREW!! I am now 21 1/2" LONG !! :) I was even too long for their preemie scale!! It feels nice to know I am growing :) Any way after all my stuff was done, it was off to daddies arms FINALLY for food!! See Below!

AH thank you finally food!! I ate about 35ML before my first burp then another 10 ML before daddy turned me over to mommy to finish me up :)

And I DID finish everything :) In about 23 minutes too!! :) You see guys I am getting sooo good now!! And as always It's time for bed again!!
