You Can Now Call Me Miss Cranky Preemie Princess!! :(

Well look at me! I look absolutely beautiful don't I?? You can't even tell I have been kinda sick for 3 weeks now can you!! As you probably have guessed that pretty picture up there is from the photo shoot a week ago. But not all them turned out the way the photographer wanted, so we are gonna do a re-shot sometime soon in the near future :) Well if you can believe it or not this is my 100th post!! And to go with that I have now reached 32 thousand page views!! My popularity has yet to cease!! I know lately these posts have been pretty boring but there really is not as much going on as there was before in the NICU, but I like to write, and I know some of you out there want to read about my week regardless if it was boring or not, and to those people I sure do thank you and love you!! And before I begin if you haven't voted on my newest poll you better!! It's just to the right of this very paragraph your reading so VOTE people!! :) Now on to my week!!
Monday

Ah yes It's a new week and I just finished up with Last Weeks Post!! Well today was more of the same, (life is sure boring when I got nothing to talk about anymore!!) I still am not quite feeling 100%, so again I slept most of the day, but when I finally did wake up during the day I SCREAMED AT THE TOP OF MY LUNGS DEMANDING FOOD!! I am sure eating a lot more than I used to now, I am taking almost a whole 4 ounce bottle every 3-4 hours!! And seeing how I sleep most of the day lately, I just LOVE waking mommy and daddy up during the night!! :) Sorry guys but I miss you two and ever since you started working again I barely see you!!! Mommy makes me 3 bottles every night and wakes up to feed me first, then daddy does, same routine everyday :) Except sometimes I only wake up once during the night, then others (like last night) I wake up around 3 times!! Again sorry guys!! Well let's see if I can accomplish my first night of sleeping through out the night tomorrow!

 Tuesday

Well Last night I woke up twice :( I'll try to better tomorrow!! Today when daddy got home I spent the whole time asleep again!! (I am getting confused on what is day time, and what is night night time I guess!!) And I slept all the way till 7:30pm basically. I guess I went to my brother's first Cub Scout meeting while I was in my formula coma, Way to go Jayce!! Too bad I was asleep for it :( Oh well Ill try to stay up for the next one! After that it was pretty much awake time for me till ten! (Wayyyyyyyyyy past my bed time!!) I was a cranky baby yet again today, I want to eat faster then my patience slows!! Oye I need to slow down!! Oh well time for bed lets hope for a better night for mommy and daddy's sake!! :)

 Wednesday

Annnnnnd It was not a good night for me :( or mommy :( or daddy :(. I was not even hungry last night, but I was up multiple times just wanting to be held!! I get lonely in that big ole crib sometimes and I miss my parents!! And heck all those months of NO ONE holding me has really had it's effect on me, cause now I want to be held ALL THE TIME!! Oh well, Ill take my parent cuddles in moderation from now on :) After 2 hours of sleep mommy and daddy both went to work and I kept my Grandma Berta and Auntie Sarah on their toes all day! (Yes I was cranky for them too!!) BUT they did get me this VERY COOL cat costume that I got to try on and I must say I LOVE IT!! :) Thank you Guys!! Once daddy got home I was pretty much tired and slept while he worked on computers. Mommy came home real late that day but did spend all her time with me before bed time :) Thank you Mommy!! She is always trying to get me to smile but heck I don't even know what a smile is yet!! :)

Thursday

Yet again I was up from 2 in the morning allllllllllllllllll the way until mommy and daddy left :( This nose is just too hard to breathe out of!!! Daddy did come get me and hold me for the night to make me feel a little better. I know I keep mentioning the fact I am sick, but maybe I am just allergic to something..... Who knows, but it does seem to be getting better!! Mama switched me to the 4 oz bottles now because now I am eating a WHOLE lot of food and its just easier that way! I go through almost 2 cans of formula a week now!! Crazy big difference compared to my ICU day huh! For the most part of the rest of the day I just woke up talked to myself, annoyed someone till they got me food, ate, then fell asleep and repeat! Ugh, I need to get out of this house! I hope mommy and daddy take me somewhere fun this weekend! But maybe I should let them sleep through out the night first :)

 Friday

Good news for mommy and daddy!! I only woke up ONCE last night!! Yay!!!!!!! BUT when I did wake up daddy got me and went to feed me and somehow someway 1/4 of a 4 ounce bottle ended up all over him, me, my blankets, the pillows, and the bed :( I don't think the daddy screwed the bottle top on all the way :( So daddy had to sleep with his head on the foot of the bed he didn't get all wet :( And poor daddy had to smell mommy's feet all night !! Yuck!! Hehehe As for me I got to sleep and cuddle right up next to mommy :) Lucky princess I sure am!! So ya that was a fun morning but as for today I went on a trip with mommy and my big sister to her dad's house! His name is Ben and he got to hold me for the first time!! I sure made Lexi jealous by her seeing her dad with another baby! Just joking she loved it!! Thank you Ben for visiting with me!! Now its off to home and back to bed, lets see what shenanigans I can do to keep mommy and daddy up tonight!! :)

 Saturday

So get this! Last night I went to bed at 9pm while mommy and daddy watched TV shows, then I woke up at 11:30 to get food while they were still up and then guess what??? I didn't wake up again till 7 in the morning!!! YA!!!! I gave mommy and daddy a break by sleeping almost 8 hours!! See I told you I could do it!! Well today sure was a busy day, I went with mommy and daddy out to Renton to pick up a laptop for my Auntie Sarah and Uncle Seth, That was quite a long drive so I slept most of the time, but by the time I finally got home my Auntie Vicki was there!! Oh so was Uncle Terry and the Infamous Coug Cousin of mine Sammi!! And look at that she is just in time to watch the Coug's on daddy's TV!! Oh what happened in the game you say?? Well lets just say when Sammi walks in the door the Coug's are up by 17, BUT when Sammi walks out the door (tears running down her cheek and all) the Coug's figure out a way to LOSE!! Hahahaha! It's OK Sammi I'll save a seat for you on the Husky fan bus when you are ready to make the right choices in life!! Hehe. Anyways my Auntie brought me some fancy new pants because I seem to have grown out of all my clothes!! (I am getting really long now!!) Thank you Auntie!! After that it was off to grandpa's house!! When we got there daddy gave Grandma Debbie her new Laptop, and we all visited and had fun :) Then Sammi showed up and tried to smack me around a bit because of all my Coug joke's from the hours before! After that everyone had pizza except for me :( and I pretty much went to sleep in my car seat while everyone else played card games. It was a busy day for me but I sure had fun seeing everyone :)

Sunday
Very cranky day for me but I did have a bunch of good moments. Daddy and Mama forgot to bring my formula last night when we went to grandpa's, so I had some of Sammi's and I think that really made my tummy hurt for today :( But when I did wake up it was off the Grandma Rolene's for her birthday BBQ!! Happy Birthday Grammie! I know it's early but who cares right! Once I got there Grammie swooped in and held me for hours and hours, keeping me warm while everyone was enjoying themselves outside.

Grandpa Gary even came in to hold me AND I got a picture as proof!! :) That really made me happy :) I pretty much slept 90% of time we were there but I really did have fun and Thank you guys for having us over!! After that I was pretty much awake till 9pm cause I still feel a little sick :( I was driving mommy and daddy crazy with all my crying for attention! I did not want my bottle just wanted to be loved on and snuggled up :) Thank you for always being there guys and I love you sooo much!! Well its off to bed for me and I will see you all next week! Pray that I get over this funk soon and don't end up back at the Dr's!! :) I love you all and goodnight world!! PS Here are two more pictures from my photo shoot :)

4 Months Old This Week!! Yay!! Plus I Get My Photo Shoot!!

Hello everybody!! It's me Olivia, the preemie princess that you all know and love, here for my weekly update!! Now nothing really new this week to report but I did have fun with my first "normal" week. :) I have no clue what I weigh because I have not had a Dr. or nurse look at me in over a week!! That's like some new record for me! The social workers that were checking up on me decided they no longer needed to because I was growing just fine and progressing like a "normal" new born would be doing and that's good news! But that also means that I wont be having updates on my growth or health until I have my normal Dr's appointments :( But any who, do you know what today is?? I have been home exactly one month!! So I could be considered 1 month old today, but anyone that has been following me knows that isn't true :) But I will say, a month at home with loved ones all the time has gone by sooooo fast compared to my former life inside the plastic box. Again I am soooo happy to be home and I am just loving life!! Now let me tell you about my week! Oh but before I get started let me tell you how I am gonna do this from now on, I will write a little paragraph about my day everyday in the morning then I will just post it all at once every monday :) I still have a preemie brain so I tend to forget people or events throughout the week (so I apologize to all of you that I have forgotten) and this is MUCH easier :) OH and don't forgot to vote on my "Next Achievement" poll to the left here! And without further adieu here is my week at a glance!! :)

Monday

Well today was the start of my new "normal" life where everyone leaves me for the day :( Mommy went back to work today, Jayce and Alexis both go to school at 8:30am, and daddy leaves me at 5am for work :( So no more parents or siblings, I guess that means I have this place to myself!!! Hahahahaha, Oh wait here comes my grandma Roberta to Babysit me, DARN! I guess I will have to plan my house party for later! So yes my daily grind will be Grandma watching me every morning and Auntie Sarah coming over sometimes to help out too! I didn't sleep much today cause everyone seems to think I am getting sick, but if you ask me I feel fine! And by the time brother Jayce, sister Alexis, and daddy came home I was already asleep! And I was asleep all the way till mama got home at 6:30pm!! So it was pretty much mama and me time the rest of the night :) And like I always I loved every second of that!!

Tuesday

HAPPY 4 MONTH BIRTHDAY TO ME!!!! :) Look at how big I have gotten since my birth It's Crazy!!! Well any who today I spent most of the night keeping mom and dad up because I think I am getting sick and I just wanna be held!! So daddy got me in the middle of the night and held me to make me feel better :) Mama I'm sorry for keeping you up half the night :( Grandma and Sarah showed up as expected and made me feel a lot better through out the day :) Once daddy got home he had to clean out my nose again and once mommy got home I pretty much hung out with her the rest of the day :) Still not feeling too good this "cold" is kicking my butt, so I hope tomorrow is a better day :(

Wednesday

Not such a good day for me, lots of stuffy noses and crying, hard time eating as well cause I can't breath through my nose :( Grandma and mama cleaned me out though and by the end of the day I was feeling better. :) Hopefully I feel better tomorrow!

Thursday

Well last night I shocked mama and daddy by not waking up once after 11:30 pm!! But that was mostly because I feel asleep in daddies arms :) I am becoming spoiled and mama is getting worried :) My nose felt much better today and spent a good amount of the day awake and just talking to myself with my funny noises :) Today I also got to go to Jayce and Alexis school for their first open house!! Very exciting stuff to see what I will be doing when I get older!! Jayce and Alexis both are doing a great job in school and I am very excited for them both!! Good Job Guys!! Jade also came too and I got to spend a lot of time with her as well!! Thanks for all the loving Jade!! :) Well its off to bed as soon as I get home so hopefully I can make it two nights in a row of just sleeping!! :)

Friday

Last night was ANOTHER good night for me!! I only woke up once!! (If you don't count me waking up when daddy got ready for work!) Anyway today was a big day for me!! After 4 LOOOOOOONG months I finally get to have my professional new born pics!! (See above!) This super nice lady came by with a box full of goodies to make me look gorgeous, but I was not having it!! Mommy and Daddy had to calm me down numerous times and eventually I had enough and just fell asleep during my photos :( Oh well I still am not feeling 100% and the fact that I am in the picture awake, or asleep, just means it will be PERFECT regardless!! Mommy, Daddy, Jayce, Preston, and Alexis all posed with me as well :) I will be sure to post the pictures as soon as I get them back!! I am excited!! :)

Saturday

Well last night I spent the WHOLE night in daddies arms, I was still real cranky after all my photo's the day before so I needed some loving!! Today mommy had to work so it was just daddy and I watching the good ole' huskies on TV!! And YES THEY WON!! Whoooo Hoooo!! 52-13!! Take THAT Coug Fans!! (aka Cousin Sammi!) Anyways when mommy finally got home we got to go on a trip to Grandpa Andy's and I sure did have a whole lot of fun!! That's because My Auntie Vicki and Uncle Terry were their as well and that means So was Cousin Sammi and Matti!! While I spent a good ten minutes talking to Sammi about the Huskies win earlier (in our secret baby language of course) everyone else was busy trying to get their turns in holding me :) I had lots on fun thanks guys!!! :)
Sunday
Today I spent the day with Jade while mommy and daddy went to the Seahawks game :( Booooo :( I want to go!!! But I had fun anyway :) I went over to Jade's friend Julie's house and got to visit with her newborn :) Yet again another baby that I am older than is bigger than me!! Oye don't you worry I will catch up!! We stayed there for a long time and had ourselves a BBQ, again I could not enjoy any of it but the smells sure smelled wonderful!! Thank you Jade for watching me and introducing me to your friend! I had a blast with you today! 
And with that all said its time for me to head back to bed once again! I have been feeling better as of late and I am learning to sleep more and longer at night so lets hope I can keep up this trend :) I love you all and I shall see you again next Monday!! :)

Nice Quiet Week for Me with My Family :)

First things First!! Check out my new Poll to the right everybody and be sure to vote!! Now onto the good stuff! Well I have been out now for a little bit over 3 weeks, and I think I am finally getting used to the life outside of the hospital! I was so used to the schedule that the nurses had set for me when it came to eating at certain times and having my care done, that it took me a while to realize that I am going to eat when I am hungry NOT when the clock says a certain time. Same thing with diapers and such. Nurses would change me every 3 hours regardless if I needed it or not, now I get changed when the diaper is full, and that is change! Now if I could only get used to the sleeping cycle. Before it was very quiet in the my plastic box and very dull. Now there is so much fun stuff to stare at for hours and hours and listen to. I have found I am a huge fan of the radio and soft music! It makes me happy and calms me down when I am upset! But back to sleeping, you see I don't do too much of that very often. I'll spend one day fully awake the WHOLE day with a couple of cat naps here and there, and then the next day I will spend the majority of it asleep! I also tend to trick mommy and daddy by sleeping with my eyes open! ( I know it sounds odd but I guess that's something most preemie babies do!) So I still have some things I need to work on and get used to here, but I can also say I am pretty much the bottle master now! I had such a tough time the first week with eating, and now pshhh I am the greatest! I eat well over the 16 ounces a day they wanted me to eat. I am rarely spitting up now, and i am finishing my bottle's as they are given to me, not in a span of 3 hours like before! I seem to be eating a lot lately too and that is GREAT news because that means I am growing and getting super strong!! In fact I am growing sooo much that when mommy took me to my Dr. appointment I weighed 9 pounds even!!! I am now 4 times my birth weight!! How many babies can say that after 4 months of life! But then again if you took a normal baby growing at that pace we would be talking about a 35 pound baby and ya that would be ridiculous!! I am just trying to catch up to the average baby weight of a 4 month old and that is between 15-17 pounds so I still have a loooooooooooong way to go! But I will get there eventually :) As far as news goes that is pretty much it, so now let me tell you about my week!

Well After all the time daddy got with me in the last two weeks it was now Mommy's turn!! She stayed with me all week! And I sure did love every second of it!! This week was a big week because my brother Jayce and sister Alexis both started school! Jayce started on Wednesday and Alexis started on Friday, So for half the week it was just Mommy Alexis and I! But I did have my visitors too! I went over to my god parents on Monday for some labor day dinner!! I heard it was good, but alas I was not allowed to eat any of it :( I am still on my formula.... FOR NOW! :) Either way it smelled good! Good job on the chicken God Mama Amber!! Tuesday I had my Dr apt where they found out I gained weight up to 9 pounds!! Wednesday my Grandma Rolene came over to see me :) That made me very happy! Especially when I projectile vomited EVERYWHERE and she was there to clean it up!! Thank You Grandma!! Didn't mean to freak everyone out, but it was pretty epic!! Grandma and Sister made a scrap book with a whole lot of pictures of lil ole me! Wednesday was also goodbye time for Jayce :( I will miss you while you are in school big brother!! :) Thursday I went with mommy to go to my daddies work!! We all got to meet his co-workers and they were VERY happy to meet me!! (Even though I was a little bit fussy cause I was tired)  Friday we went over to Grandpa Andy's house to visit with him and my grandma Debbie! Friday was also the day I said goodbye to my big sister Alexis for the day cause she started school as well :( Good luck big sister! I love you!! Friday was ALSO the day all my siblings left for the weekend to be with their other parents :( Oh well that just means more mommy and daddy time! Saturday we made the trip out to Grandpa's AGAIN and we all went garage sale shopping!! I got myself a new car seat for daddies car and a baby gate for when I can walk, to keep me out of things! It was really fun spending all day with you grandpa!! Can't wait to do it again!! :) Sunday was FOOTBALL DAY!! So daddy and I sat in the big chair and watched all the days' games :) I was not feeling so good so I pretty much slept most of the day, but either way it sure was fun!! And that was pretty much it for my week!!

Ah look at me trying to figure out this crawling thing! I know its a little soon but I sure do love my tummy time!! Well that was pretty much my week in a nutshell guys! I will see you all next Monday to let you know about my little wonderful life! I sure do love you all so much and I cant wait to fill you all in next week :) I will close today's blog with a VERY goofy picture of me making a funny face :) Goodbye for now world!!
