Look Mom NO TUBE!! :) And Guess What I Can Do!

Hey MOM Look at what I can do!! Ya that's right I drank 30ML all by my self!! I just put one arm under the bottle like this, and put my other hand on the side like that, and pow! I can feed myself! (Still need a bit more practice though!!) Anyways today was another great day for good news!! First my stats! Today I gained...... another half ounce :( Ugh still getting used to the feeds from just my bottle, but soon I will start gaining again like crazy! So anyways that makes me SEVEN POUNDS EVEN!!! YAY!!!!! Big Smiles right here!! Also my feeding tube is GONE! BYE BYE!! ADIOS AMIGO!! And its about time because having something stuck up your nose for over a month gets annoying after a while!! Now the only thing left to lose is my oxygen tube! And Can you guess where that is going tomorrow??? Correct! In the trash!!! You see they are gonna try me room air once again for 24 hours to see how I act and I am sure it's the last time I ever see the thing! (I sure hope!) Heck I don't even like it anyway, I am always pulling it out of my nose and over my head! But they keep putting it back :( Ugh! So now I have gone just under 48 hours straight with just bottle feeds, and every time I am eating over 50 ML every 4 hours, all in my bottle!! Ahhhh life is good for this Preemie Princess!! Now also I am starting to hear rumors that my mommy and daddy are staying the night with me on Sunday!! Oh wow I won't even be able to hold back my excitement if that really happens!! Also the other HUGE news of the day is that my heart was given the A-OK, and I will not need it looked at again for a whole year!! And I passed my Brain exam, there is no bleeding in there and everything looks great!! What a miracle all that is!!  Annnnnd that's it for today's daily stats and news stories! So on to all the loving! Daddy came in first today and I was just starting to wake up so he picked me up and held me until I was finally awake, and that means feeding time! But wait, Someone BRAND new has come to see me!! It's my Mommy's good friend Mel! See Below!!!

Look at how happy and excited she is to meet me for the first time!! I was just as excited, and we just sat there and laid together for quite a while just enjoying each others company :) It was sooo fun I almost forgot I was supposed to eat, but I had to poo anyway so Mel held me and tried to coax the poo out of me... Did it work you say?? Stay tuned.... Pretty soon another visitor came in and who was that you say?? Oh my gosh it is my Great Great Aunt Connie!!  Another new face!! And yes another new person to love on me!! See Below!

With all the excitement of all these new visitors and loving arms, again I forgot to eat!! My great great aunt and I just enjoyed our time together and It was a mighty fun time!! Then out of no where it was my Grandpa Andrew!! Wow I got a lot of visitors today!! Now Daddy of course forgot to get a picture of him so just pretend you see him and I together in a picture, OK you got that visual? Good moving on! :) Now I could no longer hold back my hunger so my daddy fixed me up a bottle and then handed it to me while Great Great Auntie was holding me! (That's the picture way at the top, of me showing off my new skills!) Eventually I chowed down so much so fast that daddy had to swoop in and burp me!! Whew Thanks Dad!! Then my great great Auntie had to  go :( And so did Grandpa Andy :( Then Mel Had to as well :( That's a lot of unhappy faces!! Man I hate saying goodbyes, because I just had sooo much fun with you all!! Thank you all so much for coming down to see me!! This has been such a great day I just did not want it to end!! Now you all better come back to visit me again real soon or I will be pretty sad!! (Yep I am already learning how to guilt trip! Watch out Daddy!) I love you all and Thank you again! After all my goodbyes, Daddy laid me back down in his arms and fed me the rest of my bottle till it was all gone, then mommy got me up and changed me and their was No Poo!! So I guess it was just bad gas from earlier! How Embarrassing! Sorry Mel didn't mean to fart all over you leg! Oye! Well after all of that commotion it was time for bed!

And as you can tell I was not quite ready yet :) I had forgotten to take my med's! So daddy got the bottle back and the nurse put my med's back in it and off I went till it was all gone!! Annnnd Now I am ready for bed!! I sure do love you mommy and daddy for always being here and taking care of me !! You Sure are the best, and again I love you soooo much! And to all you others out there reading this or visiting me, don't ever forget how much you have had an impact on me being who I am today! I am super strong now because of all of you!! You all believed in me and when I get out of here, that will be all the proof you need that miracles in fact DO happen :) I Love you all and goodnight :)
