Super Princess Preemie Had a SUPER Gain! :)

Good Evening everybody!! Today was a busy day! First my mommy came in at 8 in the morning just to feed me!! But I was too tired to take it all in, so I only got 30ML and the rest went in my tube :( She was there for about 45 minutes before she had to go :( But I sure do love my mommy one on one time! Also the Dr is trying me back on the air tube again :( They are hoping this will help with my feeds, and they are only putting it on while I bottle feed. Oye seems like another setback I know, but its just something they want to try out and see if it helps :) Later in the day mommy and daddy both came in and it was daddies turn to have time with me :) See Below!

As you can see by the look on my face I was really happy to see him :) Mommy came down and took my temp which was 36.8C which is really good :) After that mommy grabbed me and changed my diaper and got me naked. Why you ask? Oh its because they get to weigh me today :) But before that I gave my mommy a hug the only way a preemie princess with short arms can, Look below!

I tried to give ya hug mom, but my arms need to grow more :) Speaking of growing look how LONG I look there! It's crazy how much I have changed in 3 short months!! After our loving moment together mommy placed me in the scale to see my weight and.......

HOLY COW!! I am 7 pounds 11 ounces!!!! That is a 4 and half ounce gain in 24 hours!! All this special attention with my feeds looks like it's finally starting to pay off!! This is the largest gain I have EVER had!! I am still in shock! :) I am 5 ounces away from 8 pounds! Crazy!!! Ah yes before I forget the Dr's have no new time table for taking me back off the tube :( So again hang in there with me guys I am really am trying to get out of here! After all of that mess it was FINALLY time to eat! See Below!

 Geez daddy you always look sooooo tired! WAKE UP MAN!! :) As you can see they switched my bottles back over the the hospital brand, and it seems to help me better because I finished this whole bottle of 62ML in UNDER 15 minutes!! Either I was super hungry or these bottle's are miracle workers!! Or maybe I am just getting better, I think it is all of the above :) After the mass eating in record time, it was time for a big burp and I had daddy here to help me out! See Below!

Now I may not look to happy here, but this is the face you get right after a GIANT burp and I feel SUPER after that!!! Ahh yes and now I am sleepy. I showed off my eating skills to the point of tiring my little self out! So daddy handed me over to the mama and she buttoned me all up in my halo blanket and dimmed the lights for me :) Thanks Mommy!!

And now I am ready for bed!! But before I go, I had to stay awake a little bit longer and look at my mommy and daddy:) I love you guys sooooooo much and thank you for being so patient!! :) And to you all as well, it must be hard reading all 91 of these posts and constantly wondering when I am gonna get out! But don't you worry it will happen soon I just have a good feeling about it :) I love you all, thank you as always and goodnight world!! :)

Bath Time for Me!! First Time Ever!!!

Today was a very special day!! You see I have never had a bath before and TODAY was finally the day for one!! I sure did need it too because I was really starting to stink!! But before we get to all that lets talk stats!  First my Dr. is gonna let me know about my feeding tube tomorrow and possible release date again. As for today's weight well I didnt gain anything at all :( But I didn't lose anything either soo it ain't good news, but it sure ain't bad news!! :) Any who, when mommy and daddy got in I was already waking up and was ready to get some food! But first it was bath time!! First daddy had to unplug all my cords and then mommy got me naked then it was off to the tub!! See Below!

And I Sure did LOVE it!! See me waving to the camera :) Hi Dad!! The water was really warm and I didn't have any issue with it at all, it felt great!! Mommy washed my hair and body, and daddy washed my back and my butt!! Then I got all new probes and a new diaper and some new clothes to wear!! I was as fresh as I have ever been!! I smelled wonderful!! :) Thanks guys I really needed that!! I can't wait for my next bath! I think I am gonna be a future swimmer or surfer!! After my bath it was time to eat! See Below!

Here you can see my daddy feeding me! Now I was pretty hungry at first, but eventually I got bored with the bottle, so after 30 ML I was done. It was about an hour and a half early for my feed so that probably is why I didn't want all of it. I just needed enough to fill my tummy back up for bed. See Below!

Yep I am ready for bed once again! I really hope I get good news tomorrow so make sure you all wish me luck!! I need more of your luck prayers!! Today was one of my many firsts and I am so glad it was my mommy and daddy that got to do it first :) I love you both so much and thanks again!! OK guys wish me luck, so I finally get out of here :) Goodnight World!!

It's My 3 Month Birthday!!! :) And Weight Gain!!

Well Happy Birthday to me!! I am 3 months old today!! I was sure at one point I would be celebrating this at home with my mommy, daddy, brothers and sister, but sadly I am still here :( Oh well I have a feeling that this might be my last weekend ever in here so lets hope it is! Anyways today when Mommy and daddy got in I was waking up and ready for my food!! The nurse told daddy that my weight is now 7 pounds 6 ounces, so YAY another gain :) Also that on Monday they are gonna re evaluate my feeding tube and hopefully they pull it again. They are now thinking I may have had a cold over the last 2 weeks that was making it tough for me to eat. Who knows with everyday that passes there is a new reason why I was not able to eat from my bottle like other babies. Oh well the past is the past, and Now I am doing GREAT at eating!! First off daddy started feeding me while mommy took my temp (Which was 36.9C). Daddy was able to feed my 30ML in about 10 minutes!!

 And here you can see my mommy feeding me too! I was able to finish ALL 67ML today!! Thanks guys for always feeding me, Its soooo much better to eat with you guys instead of all these nurses :) After my feed it was time to go back to sleep :( Ugh, Seems like all I do now is just Eat & Sleep. I can't wait to be home where I can play with all my new toys, and be around my mommy and daddy all the time!! :)

Yep once again I feel asleep the second I was put in my box :( Well as always I love you all and thank you all for following me :) I will see you all tomorrow!!!
