Just a Quiet Week at Home & Waiting For Christmas!!

Hello Everybody! How was your week?? Mine was very quiet, and I had lots of time to just relax and stare at my pretty Christmas tree :) Which was really just about all I did this week! Oh but as you can see in the picture above, my Auntie Sarah got me a new toy to stand in! This one even has a puppet that seems to come alive every time my Mommy comes near it!! Weird!! Its got a bunch of buttons that make fun noises that I just love!! Thank You Auntie I love it!!

Now one of few things I actually did get to do this week besides eating and sleeping was going to my sister's Christmas Musical! It was sure a lot of fun hearing everyone sing their pretty Christmas songs and my sister was the BEST obviously! So good in fact that my daddy got her roses!! Even Grandpa Andy made the trip out to see her perform :) And of course Grandpa had to hold me for a little bit, but I think he spent too much time pinching my chubby cheeks! See Below!!

Geez his hands are almost the size of my face!! Yeah I am just looking at him wondering when the torture was gonna end!! Just kidding Grandpa! :) Anyways later in the week I went with my mommy and daddy out to do the last of the Christmas shopping and like always complete strangers come up to me and just stare and comment on how pretty I look :) Little do they know that this princess at one time was only 2 pounds!! Man how time flies :) After all of our shopping adventures were over I got to watch my mommy wrap up all the presents for my brother's and sister, they sure are gonna love their gifts from me :)

And Sunday the Godparents came over just to see me!! Ok actually they came over to watch the Seahawks when yet ANOTHER game!! Whooohooo Go Hawks!! And as you can see above I am just as into the game as my daddy!! Amber though seems really into me :) Later Grandpa came over again to visit me and fix our messed up oven too. Thank You Grandpa for fixing our food heater upper!! :) As you can see now a VERY quiet week indeed, but it's all good I need quiet weeks from time to time just so I don't get too overwhelmed :) Next week will be Christmas time!! I am SOOOOOO excited too!! Lots of stuff going on next weekend and I CANT WAIT!! :) Now I may not have my blog up next week until after Christmas, so look for my weekly update on the 26th which is a Wednesday I think :)

And as you can see above I am getting cranky now and probably getting a cold as well or maybe its allergies, either way I am off to bed for the night!! I love you all and I will see you all next week to talk about my first Christmas! :)

It's Christmas Time!! & I Got To Meet Santa!!!

Hello everyone!! How are all of you?? I am very VERY well! I had a nice calm week once again and a VERY fun weekend!! These calm weeks have been really nice because it gets me nice and rested for my crazy weekends!! This week was spent getting ready for Christmas time! Now of course before this week I had NO CLUE what Christmas even was, but now I sure do! And now I am REALLY excited for it!!

You see that over there? That was an ornament that my mommy got for my daddy to let him know that I was growing in my mommy's tummy!! He got to find out about me when he opened the gift and saw this ornament :) Very cool idea mommy :) But maybe she thought I was gonna be a boy becuase it is baby blue and not Pink!! Oye anyways the date this all happened was 12/12/11. Its crazy its been a year now that I've been around (half inside my mommy of course), it is also nice to know that I was apart of last year's Christmas too :) That makes me smile! Then right next to my first ornament on the tree is another ornament gotten for me from my god mommy! See Below!

Very fitting don't you all think ?? :) Thank you God Mama Amber I love it!!! :) I got to watch daddy bring home our brand new christmas tree with all it's pretty lights, then I got to watch Jayce and Alexis hang up all their ornaments. They sure looked like they had a lot of fun!! Especially Alexis, whom got to put the star on the top of the tree! Hopefully next year I get a chance to help out and not just watch! They did a wonderful job and the tree got put right next to my chair too! So now I get to see all them pretty lights all the time!!

See! I get to be under the tree just like a present :) I had a pretty normal week as well, you know wake up, eat, cry, sleep and repeat! I am still giving my parents a hard time at night, nothing new there :( Good thing they really like me or else I think they would have tried to return me back to ICU by now!! I still waking up 2-3 times a night or every 2 hours basically ugh! But I have been doing better just laying by myself and keeping myself entertained with toys and other things. I STILL hate tummy time too! I cant do it longer than a couple of minutes everyday, it just drives me crazy!! Grandpa Andy also brought me a new toy, Look!

Yea! now I can stand up kinda, and then whack around all these fun toys around me! I LOVE this thing! Even though my mommy scared me soooooo bad when I first got put in this thing, she slapped around one of the loud rattle toys and it scared me so bad I screamed for like 5 minutes!! She almost permanently scared me for life!! Luckily my memory is not that good and I was able to go right back in it and have fun :) I just love standing up and being able to see everything around me, its my favorite thing to do!!

Now on the weekend we got to go over to my Great-Great Aunt and Uncles house!! They're names are Don and Lorrie. Now I have met them a couple times before today and they sure were surprised on how well I look and how BIG I have gotten lately! Now we were over here because they were able to write a letter to santa and get him to come over to the house to talk to all the kids! Now I had NO CLUE who santa was but once I found out I sure was excited to meet him!! Santa came in after we all played games and ate and he got all of us kids youngest to oldest to sit on his lap and tell him what we wanted for christmas! Of course I was the youngest so I got to go first! But unfortunately I can't talk yet so I just sat there and posed for pictures with jolly ole saint nick :) Afterwards he gave all of us our very own Jingle bells that we all get to ring on Christmas Eve to remind him to come to our house! Very fun! Everyone else got to make a gingerbread man and Christmas decorations. I on the other hand just got to watch :( Oh well next year I will able to participate more :) It was sooooo much fun to meet santa and all my other family members that were there, Thank you SOOOOOO much Great Auntie and Uncle :)

Here is the picture of all of us posing :) Such a great looking family we have :) The next day I went over to Jade's house with Jayce and Alexis while mommy and daddy went to their Seahawks Game. As usual I had loads of fun over there too!! I got to watch Alexis and Jade make cupcakes :) Another thing I would LOVE to try but I cannot :( Thank you Jade for watching me :) Ill see you again soon!! Well that was pretty much it for my week, loads of fun and now it's the countdown for Christmas and I sure hope I am on santa's good list! (all my late nights might make him put me on the naughty list though!) Thank you all for reading about my week and I hope you had as much fun this week as I did!! Lots of Birthday's! And Back to the Dr. Ugh! :(

 Why hello there everybody!! How was every one's week?? Mine started pretty slow and ended with lots of fun times!! I had two birthday parties to go to (FUN!) and I had to go back to the Dr. again (not FUN), and all of that was in a matter of 3 days!! But then you look at the first half of the week, and it was very peaceful and calm :) Trust me after all the excitement with family and friends the week prior I needed it!! I got to relax and just grow some more :) And when your a miniature princess you need nice calm days every once in a while :)

Now like I was saying the first half was pretty quiet and all I really did was hang out with my Grandma Berta and Auntie Sarah (because they watch me everyday!) and of course hang out with daddy & mommy! Now the second my daddy walks in the door I KNOW IT!!! If he does not come over and say hello to me I LOSE IT! And if he does and then walks away too soon I LOSE IT ALSO!!! I need my daddy time, so I FORCE him to not do anything else but cater to my all my needs :) Hehehehe I have said it before but I know for a fact now.... I OWN HIM!!! :) But he will eventually get me to take a nap so he can make dinner for everyone else and then start with cleaning house. Eventually mommy will get home by the time I get up from my nap and then its MOMMY time, and I do the same to her as I do my daddy! I got these parents of mine trained!! Then the inevitable happens I get tired and cranky then its back to the halo blanket and then off to bed :( And YES I still am waking up 1-2 times a night :( Oye maybe once I am allowed to eat food I will get better :) Just ask mommy how much she loved me the other night when I woke up 5 times in 5 hours!! I think daddy was on strike that night :)

As for the rest of the week I had a couple birthday parties to go to! First was my cousin Sammi's first birthday!! What a special day that is!! So many people came to celebrate with her and my Auntie Vicki and Uncle Terry! She got so many presents, toys and clothes, and let me tell you they were VERY PRETTY clothes at that! I can't WAIT for my first birthday, hard to believe that it's only 5 months away!! But the best part of all with her birthday was she got to eat her very own cake!! I am VERY envious of that one!! It sure did look good too!! All my family was there too, as you can see above I even got to be held by my Grandpa Andy!! I got to meet lots of new people for the first time too, people that have only heard about me through this blog, it was really cool and lots of fun! It was sure nice meeting you all and Thank you for all your well wishes and compliments :) And to you Sammi, Happy Birthday Cousin!!!! :) I sure do love you, and I hope you like the toy princess mirror I got you :)

The next day we had Jayce's younger brother's birthday! His name is Jordyn and he turned 7 years old!! It was super fun mostly because my good friend (whom also is a baby) Katie was there to hang out with me!! As you can see above we both were having our tummy time. She has me beat though, I could only hold my self up for a very short time and she was having no issues at all!! We are about the same age if you count my adjusted age of 3 1/2 months. We laid there and played with each other most of the time while everyone else had cake and watched Jordyn open up his presents :) It sure looked like he loved all his presents and had a lot of fun too! Happy Birthday Jordyn and thank you for inviting me and my family over to celebrate it :) I hope you like the game we got you!! :)

And finally I had my Dr's appointment for my Synagis Shot :( I have to go in every month for this shot for the next 5 MONTHS!!! Ugh, I need this shot to prevent RSV which spells utter doom for little preemie princesses like myself. So I have to just tough it out :( Anyways I was weighed and measured again and guess what! I am now 14 pounds 2 ounces!!! And I am 25 1/2" long too! And even my head grew a little bit!! Still no food for me though, Dr says formula only because of all the issues I had with my tummy 4 months ago :( Prob have to wait till I am 9 months before i can even start rice! Oye. I am doing good on my new formula too but I still need my Iron drops twice a day. Other than that they were once again very impressed with how well I am doing and how smart and alert I am :) Oh and the Dr. could not hear my heart murmur either so now they are VERY SURE that it has closed up on its own :) Happy Day!!! Well that's about it folks! Next week is gonna be a very busy one, so I am sure I will have lots to talk about next Monday :) I hope you all have a great week and I sure do love you all too!!
